Hi Everyone! Just wanted to let you all know that Tuft is going in for surgery on his jaw Mon. July 2nd. It has not been right since he left that awful UMC Hosp. in Vegas. If your wondering what went wrong there.....Tuft had his jaw wired shut because he had broke it in 3 places. Somehow he got all 3 wires off that held it shut. He was in a coma at this time. He swallowed all 3 wires. It was never fixed right after, and in SLC there were more important things for him then that. So now he is very happy to get it fixed. He has a lot of headaches, and hopes that this will help. I will keep you all informed. Thanks Again. ~A~

Great to hear of your progress. I hope the jaw surgery will aleviate your headaches, and will help improve your bite. My son's jaws were broken in his accident, he had 3 surgeries at UMC, his being that he kept working the wires loose, he didn't know what he was doing at the time. UMC Trauma is great, but unfortunately some parts of the hospital are just horrible. Just keep milkshakes on hand to keep up the calories. Also some good soups can be pureed, to get them thru a straw. Good luck on your surgery and all your progress. You and your family are always in my prayers.
