I got to see justin also, but almost every time We went to visit he was a sleep which is good because that means he is getting worked by the PT's. And during his sleeping his body is taking care of itself. I know Justin will get better you can see it when you talk to him.
Justin is such an amazing brother. He has always told me "It's mind over matter" now I remind him of that. Everyday he is getting stronger. Justin has always been a Strong. Now we see just how strong he really is. We can't wait for the day he gets to come home. It will still be awhile, but what a party we will have. I LOVE YOU LITTLE BROTHER!! KEEP STRONG! Love, Sis
Wow! Justin you've come so far and you are doing so good! I miss you teaching me tricks and chasing me around the house trying to kiss me but when you get out of the hospital I'm sure that you will do it again. You've inpressed me a lot and now I may believe in miracles.
I would first like to thank everyone for all their support and prayers on behalf of Justin. I feel that because of faith and prayers Justin is truly a miracle happening. He has come so far in the last 3 months it is truly a blessing for all of us. Everyday there is something new and amazing Justin does. Starting on the 17th of January Justin called me (his mom) at 3 a.m. in the morning to say hi and what are you doing mom that was one of the best phone calls I had ever received. Then the next morning there was another call at 5 a.m. hi mom are you getting up now, and a 6 a.m. phone call the next morning, mom when are you coming please hurry and get here I love you mom. Today January 21, he got to have his first real food breakfast he was so excited, he also had his first lunch and dinner and he loved all of it. He still has a feeding tube in his stomach but we hope soon that will get to go. He will be moving up to the 5th floor of the hospital where he is at now to a rehab facility that will be a lot more strenuous work out of three hours instead of one hour a day. I know it will be hard on him but he is strong and I know he will work hard so he can come home. Everyday he asks when does he get to come home and all I can tell him is that when he gets strong and better enough we will get him home. I LOVE YOU SON, YOU ARE MY STRENGTH TO GET THROUGH THIS TRIAL OF FAITH BECAUSE I KNOW YOU ARE STRONG AND TOGETHER ALONG WITH ALL OUR FAMILY AND FRIENDS WE WILL WIN THIS BATTLE. I AM SO PROUD OF HOW FAR YOU HAVE COME AND WILL STARY BY YOUR SIDE TO THE VERY END. WITH ALL MY LOVE MOM
Our family doesn't know you but we pray for you none the less. I found your website because of the "Pray 4 Jessica" website. She is a neighbor of ours. May you steadily improve and return home is our prayer too. God be with you. Dave and Pat T.
You are making incredible progress! I can't believe how quickly you are healing.
You are inspiring. My little family and I will be praying for you.
P.S. If someone knows a good time to visit call me (801) 361-8915. I work in Draper and would love to come see Justin during the day or in the evening.

I am so happy to get to read about Justin's progress. It took sometime for him to wake up, but thankfully he did and now the amazing miracles happening. I have kept you in my prayers and will continue to. Someday soon when Justin is home in St George, I hope to get to come to St George to visit with you again. I know the joy of getting those phone calls during the nights, saying hi Mom, where are you, they are the best phone calls ever. Justin has a long road ahead, but with his will to get better and all the prayers, only good things can come in the near future. Take care,
Justin, you are a miracle in progress. You have touched so many with your determination, your "can-do" attitude and your intense love for life. I pray daily for your continued strength and healing and that you may feel His love and comfort. Your sweet family and friends continue to hold you tightly in their arms and in their hearts. You truly are an amazing work in progress, Justin. Thanks for your example of mind over matter. You are making it happen!
Hi, my name is Kayli. I was the nurse that took care of Justin the first 3 days at UMC Trauma, Las Vegas. I felt priveledged to meet such wonderful family, friends, and church members. I could feel the love and caring that went out toward Justin. I just found this site attempting to find news of how he is doing. WAY TO GO JUSTIN!! Keep up the fight.
There are no words to express how happy I am to hear about your progress! You are such an example to me and my family of absolute Faith and Blessings! You are Strong just like Amber said, and I know you are gonna make it through all this. You are a special person, Cousin, & friend! We never quit praying for you!
Hey Justin! We just wanted to say "Hi" and tell you how proud of you we are! It is great to hear of your progress. You are an amazing person with a strong determination for life. IT was so cool to talk to you on the phone the other day! It didn't just make my day, it made my week! You are so great! You have such a great sense of humor and attitude about you! I loved how when I told you that you must have done all this to get attention from all the girls, you said "Yeah!!!" It was great!
It sounds like you are doing so good. I am going to get a Babysitter so I can come see you, I hear that noise from kids can be kind of hard on you, so I will take care of it. Trust me my kids are anything but quiet!
Keep up the great work! You are fantastic! We LOve you!
Cora & Family!
PS Kim & Amber ~ I am so impressed with how upbeat and positive you have remained! You are amazing! Love you!
Hey Justin! It is ashley again! I just wanted to tell you how awesome it was to watch your video. One more thing mom would like to add. Justin has a picture hanging in his room with the saying:
I NEVER SAID IT WOULD BE EASY...
I ONLY SAID IT WOULD BE WORTH IT.
love you son,
