Hi Everyone!
Just wanted to let ya know Tuft is doing well. He is very determined to walk! He can't wait. Yesterday I put him in my car and drove all over St.George. He LOVED it. We went looking at house's with our grandparents, then took the girls swimming. He wants to do that too. He said it was a great day! It totally wore him out, but he had fun and so did I. He wanted me to drive him around again today, I told him I would soon. He is becoming quite good at helping me get him in and out of the car. That helps me let me tell ya, he is a big kid!! He got his stomach tube removed two days ago and doesn't miss that at ALL. He really enjoys everyone taking time to stop by and see him. Thanks again for all your love and support!! ~A~

I have been checking the website regularly and seeing Justin's progress has been great for me. I had talked to Justin's mom back in January, but I have just started a business that is requiring too much of my time. This morning the radio alarm clock went off at 5:00 to get me up and at 'em. My little boy must have messed with the station... it was on a country station. The song almost brought me to tears. When I was Justin's companion in Fort McLeod, Alberta he had a guitar that he taught me to play. In the evenings and at lunch he would spend a few moments teaching me chords and strumming techniques. There was a song that he could play that I never learned... that was the song "You say it best when you say nothing at all". (I'm sure that was a little longer than the real title). But as I listened to the words, I could hear Elder Tuft's voice and the meaning of the lyrics took on a whole new meaning. I think this morning's experience would be considered a "tender mercy" from the Lord.

I am saddened that I haven't been able to break away from this new business yet to visit Justin yet, but the seasons will turn in the coming months and require me to take some time off. I will make sure to visit St. George when I do. I will also be getting in touch with Cheryl Gunderson and her family (who live in Ft. McLeod) because I know she is really wanting to visit too.
